Energy Efficiency Testing Guidelines for Horizontal (Condensing) Oil (Gas) Steam Boilers

First, the scope of acceptance

1, newly installed boilers; 2, the recent renovation of the boiler; 3, in-use boilers.

Second, the conditions

1, for the newly installed boiler energy efficiency testing, the following information (remodeling or in-use boilers are not required):

(1) boiler design specifications (including the design of the power range, design fuel requirements and fuel belongs to the classification); (2) boiler general drawing;

(3) boiler thermal calculations (including boiler design load range calculated thermal efficiency curve);

(4) boiler flue gas resistance calculations;

(5) boiler water resistance calculation;

(6) Boiler instruction manual;

(7) The use of oil, gas burner type.

2, remodeling or in-use boilers need to provide:

(1) boiler license;

(2) Boiler product quality certificate;

(3) remodeling thermal calculations (if any).

3, the tested boiler, auxiliary systems should meet the following conditions:

(1) the boiler can be in the design output, parameters allow safe and stable operation;

(2) Auxiliary systems should be matched with the boiler output, normal operation (there should be no running, bubbling, dripping, leaking);

(3) The fuel used in the test should meet the requirements of the designed coal;

(4) The boiler and auxiliary systems should be able to meet the test outline of the test point layout requirements

4, the boiler under test before the test should achieve thermal stability, that is, the boiler's main thermal parameters fluctuate within the range of no more than 5%, and the average value does not change over time. The time required for thermal stability is:

(1) Not less than 2h for oil and gas boilers of pot-shell type without brick wall (fast and assembled) and not less than 4h for coal-fired boilers;

(2) For light furnace wall boilers not less than 8h;

(3) for heavy furnace wall boilers not less than 24h.

Third, the procedure

(1) appointment test acceptance

(2) acceptance procedures

(3) Confirmation of on-site testing conditions

IV. Payment

(1) The test applicant holds a UnionPay card and pays the fee by swiping the card at the fee window of our branch;

V. Report Collection

After the completion of the test work, after fifteen working days with the "Industrial Boiler Energy Efficiency Test Commission Acceptance Slip" to the Chemical Supervision and Inspection Laboratory of the Institute to receive the report at the window of the report issuance.
